NEVILLE LOG HOME, VICTOR, MONTANA

This spacious and contemporary log home of Dick and Nancy Neville
is a true reflection of nature - from its breathtaking Montana landscape,
to its 60-ft. long logs, to its superior comfort produced by nature's
most efficient and environmentally friendly heating and cooling system.
Homeowner Dick Neville, also the owner of Neville Log Homes, has
been a frim believer in geothermal technology for years. As a testament,
he has a geothermal system in his office building and recommends it
to all his cutomers. \"We chose a Waterfurnace system because it's a
top of the line system and we were very impressed byt he design efforts
made by the contractor and Waterfurnace representative, John Dibble,
\"Neville explained. \"We had very specific requirements for this home
and they presented us with a custom-designed plan that met our needs.\"
Temp-Right Service, Inc. in Missoula, Montana, installed a 15-ton WF
system in the 3 story home. Two 1/2 ton Premier units and a 6-ton
Premier condition over 4,000 square ft of space on the main and upper
levels. A 6-ton water-to-water unit delivers hot water to heat 3,200 sq.ft
of basement and garage area through an infloor radiant heat system.
\"We're very happy with it, remarked Neville. \"We have the radiant in-floor
heat that we wanted. The air is always clean and fresh. And the best thing is,
it's worry-free. I can set the thermostat on 70 and no matter if it's 20 degrees
outside or 110 in the shade, I don't have to mess with this system at all.\"
The system is driven by two 60' wells, a source well that delivers over 50
gallons/minute, and a dump well. A Premier Plus potable water heating and
storage system was also integrated into the system, along with two Intellizone
panelsto allow the Nevilles to control temperatures in four separate areas of
the home.\"The efficiency of our Waterfurnace system combined with the
efficiency of the log homes we build makes out home very comfortable, and
it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to heat and cool,\" continued Neville.
\"Since we moved in, my average electric and water utility bills have totaled
around $300. per month. That's a lot less than I expected for a home of this
size. \"Air quality was another reason we chose geothermal,\" stated Neville.
Three heat recovery units were installed to provide the best possible indoor
air quality year-round. \"We never have any dust and the house never gets
musty.\"
